Super delicious food and relatively cheap. We had wild boar steak and sausage salad and liver dumpling soup as a starter. We'd love to come back on our next vacation and then we'd like to try veal sausages and knuckle of pork.

In addition to a beautiful, rustic ambience and extremely nice waiters, you can only give the cook a big compliment! We'd have to eat here twice. All "Corona hygiene rules" were adhered to! Ps: The steak is highly recommended. See you soon!

The restaurant is old school, the food is good and the staff friendly. Unfortunately, wearing mouth and nose protection and distance regulation in the bear is a foreign word. A real bear doesn't get a covid 19, they believe in the restaurant. Let's see what Mr. Söder thinks? In that sense during the pandemic me more.

Rum steak with pepper sauce can only be recommended. That was the first pepper sauce where you can say pepper sauce. The staff is really nice too ....

The four of us went to eat at the bear today. The service was friendly and courteous. The drinks were brought shortly after the order was placed. Likewise the food, the soups were very tasty, the Flädle soups were nice and fluffy and with fresh herbs. The liver dumpling was very fresh and homemade, as was the broth. The main courses were also more than perfect. The onion roast was medium fried to the point and very tender. The cheese spaetzle were very creamy. Here you can tell that everything is freshly cooked! The schnitzel was delicious and the portion size was perfect. Highly recommended if you are hungry as a bear ;-). The location was also very cozy, we were there for almost two hours because it was very cozy. Please make a reservation in advance.

The stay is only worthwhile with a lot of time, staff seem overwhelmed and hygiene measures are not observed. A mouthguard alone is not enough ... Food was very good, but price-performance ratio was not always right ... Unfortunately, the food was also cold.

The conditions were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, switching from french fries to spaetzle costs 1.50 euros, which is not okay with the price. The food was plentiful and good.

So one thing should be made clear here, I can't understand the exaggerated and made-up reviews here at all ..... 1. The dishes are super delicious 😋 (my favorite roast beef onion + the vegetarian spinach dumplings) and in a decent portion. Price for the portions quite fair. 2. With all my love, none of these great, delicious dishes can come from the can or from the bag, so I / we do not understand these exaggerated comments at all. 3. The beer 🍺 was also very tasty and the service was very friendly and everything went very quickly. It is clear, when the terrace is fully occupied, that one might stop. have to wait 5 minutes. I recommend this restaurant to everyone and I can't understand the exaggerated comments at all. We are here on vacation and have been there for the 3rd time and everything was perfect. It hurts to give such a review but we went there dehidrated and hungry, there was only 1 waitress for the whole terrace, she took the orders, brought the beverages and plates, cashed in. We waited 20 minutes, my husband took the menus from the hallway, waited about 10 minutes and then had to leave because nobody asked us what we want to order. I mean i am sorry and I get that she was alone but at i would have ordered at least something to drink The Crepes looked really good and the Käsespätzle too, I saw them on another table. But you really have to reorganise your system or hire another person, it's not normal to ride on one poor employee for so many tables. She doesn't have 10 hands and 10 feet.

Today we were spontaneously in the Gasthof Bären and were able to get a table. The ambience is rustic but cozy. The menu is characterized by typical Bavarian dishes, but also schnitzel and cheese spaetzle are served. The food tasted good, the plates were nicely arranged and the portions were big enough.

Really good place, waiters really nice too!

Delicious food. Home-style cooking with nice variations to the standard dishes that you get everywhere else (eg many different schnitzel). The service was friendly and the food came quickly, but it was also little going on. The portions are large and priced it is fine too. In addition, the food was well presented.

The food was amazing!!! Traditional food with a lot of options for the whole family. The service was great, polite and helpful for us English speaking. Price is fair. We recommend this restaurant!!!

Cozy, traditionally Algovian atmosphere. Quick, competent and very friendly staff. Would definitely visit again.

Went in for a quick lunch while on the road. Great food and cozy settings. Only drawback was that the Coke was really flat, with close to no fizz. But gullasch that I had was absolutely fantastic and at reasonable prices as well.

Rather rustic and over the top interior. Food tasteful but heavy (German), the biggest problem was the staff that brought us food separately so one of us was eating already for 5 minutes when the other one got his plate - very unprofessional. We weren't the only one having this issue...

Just happened to stop in and so glad we did. Food was excellent, the salad was amazing. Great waitress, was very patient with us and provided an English menu. Wish I could go back.
